Rachel and John had a gorgeous fall downtown Memphis wedding on Sept 12, 2020. They were such a fun couple to get to know! They originally met at a bar and knew there was something special about each other from their first conversation. John proposed at their home in Midtown Memphis, and the wedding planning began!

Rachel and John chose 409 South Main in downtown Memphis as their wedding venue. The venue was filled with lots of exposed brick, tons of natural light and industrial windows. The string lights above the dance floor made for a warm and inviting dance floor. The ceremony and reception took place in the same room with a room flip during the cocktail hour. I absolutely loved the floral arch that was first used for the ceremony focal point and then for a backdrop for the cake. Speaking of the cake, it was a gorgeous five-tiered wedding cake that all the guests loved.

Rachel wore a simple A-line gown with a touch of bling on her belt. Her bridesmaids wore navy bridesmaids dresses. Each dress was a different style, but they all blended together seamlessly. Rachel and her six bridesmaids all carried beautiful floral arrangements made up of white flowers and greenery. John and his groomsmen wore gray suits with navy ties.

The night was complete with a confetti and glow stick send-off in the streets of downtown Memphis. Rachel and John kissed under the confetti as their guests cheered for them!

It was such a joy to be the associate photographer for Jackie McGinnis Photo for Rachel and John’s fall downtown Memphis wedding. Congratulations, you two!
