I’m so excited to share the beautiful Lappano family photos with you all today! Their photos were taken in the summer at their private property near Chicago, IL. I had the honor of photographing the mothers’ twin sister’s family the previous year so it was fun to get to meet and photograph the Lappano family. Coming to a families home is such an intimate honor and something I don’t take lightly. Your home is your safe place, your sanctuary. It’s something you’ve bought with your hard earned money and have fought to maintain for years and years. You’ve raised a family in it. It holds so many stories. Your yard is no different. You play with your kids in that yard. You drive to and from work down that driveway. You have so many memories in and around your home so I always find it so special to do family sessions at a private residence.

This session was no different! The Lappano’s welcomed me with open arms to their beautiful property for their photos. They have the most beautiful four children: two boys and two girls. Their outfits coordinated beautifully and gave a warm feel with the daughter’s sunny yellow dress and everyone else’s calming blues and whites. I loved getting to photograph this sweet family of six!
