We are so excited to announce that we’re having another baby girl! We had a wonderful time celebrating at our gender reveal with friends and family. We had our small gathering in Humboldt, Tennessee at The Opera House Event Hall. Ellie is so excited to be a big sister, and Vince and I are so thankful to be surrounded by an amazing group of people for support along the way.

My mom and sister hosted the reveal party for us and decorated it beautifully with the same colors that we plan to use for the nursery: gold, white, and green. I have really been embracing the earthy and nature vibes now that we live in a place surrounded by so much green. As you walked into The Opera House, you would see some of our favorite photos that were taken a few weeks prior by my friend Krista Joy for our baby announcement. Guests got to guess whether they thought baby Nord was a girl or boy by choosing pink or blue sunglasses. The black ones were for those who were undecided or just wanted some cool black glasses to take home.

I put together the cutest table with a keepsake album from the shower that we can all look back on and enjoy. Everyone took their photos with my instax mini camera, placed their polaroid photo inside the album, wrote a note, and then decorated with plant stickers. We all had a blast getting creative and funny with this!

I asked my mom and sister for a balloon arch and it was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Mom adorned it with eucalyptus leaves for the perfect touch. I chose baby succulents as a thank you gift at the end of the event for everyone to take home “and watch grow.”

The Opera House is an amazing two-story venue with chic brick walls and gorgeous wood floors. Not to mention the twinkle lights, chandeliers, and upstairs room is perfect for events as small as showers or as large as a wedding day. If you’re looking for a West Tennessee venue, be sure to check it out for your next shower, wedding, or other celebration!
