Haley and Michael had a gorgeous wedding at Montebello Estate in Lemont, IL. The weather was beautiful for their big day, and they incorporated so many special details during it. It was such an honor to photograph their wedding!
Haley’s family owns a horse farm full of horses, along with several dogs and cats. Haley got ready for her wedding day at her parents’ home surrounded by all of the animals and her best girlfriends. I love how she included her flower girl in the getting ready festivities. The photos with her are some of my favorite moments from the day. Haley’s dress featured elegant lace details and a long train. I love that she wore lace ballet flats for her wedding shoes as well. Her bridesmaids wore blue dresses in different styles. The blue was such a gorgeous color for the October wedding.
Haley and Michael were married in a Catholic wedding ceremony at St. John Cantius in Chicago. It was followed by their wedding reception at Montebello Estate. Their reception featured classic white, green, and blue colors. Their love for dogs was apparent in their reception details. The cocktail hour featured two signature cocktails as well as a third cocktail to honor their dog, Marley, who had recently passed away. Haley also had his dog tag tied around her bridal bouquet in memory of him. Haley and Michael also offered dog treat bags as take-home gifts for their guests. I loved all these special touches!
Another special part of Haley and Michael’s wedding day was their family. Haley and Michael really love their nieces and nephews, so kids were a huge part of this wedding day. The nieces wore precious flower crowns and looked absolutely adorable in their lace dresses. One of their nephews was the ring bearer and he rode into the reception – with the help of his dad via remote control – in a mini Lamborghini. The reaction on everyone’s faces was priceless!
Overall, it was such a beautiful day filled with meaningful details and incredibly special moments. My favorite moments of the day had to be when we taking portraits of the couple around Montebello Estate. The venue around it is so beautiful, and there is so much scenery to work with for photos.
