Oh my goodness guys… Brittany and Joe had such a beautiful wedding day! I was over the moon excited about (of course) photographing these two cuties, but also about photographing an outdoor ceremony and reception (which is rare in Chicago). It was so dreamy! They started their day by getting ready at the Hilton Chicago and then went across the street to Grant Park for their first look. Brittany scoped out these spots a few weeks before the wedding and I couldn’t have picked a better spot myself. I love that she has such an eye for detail and beauty! The bridesmaids wore elegant mismatched blush dresses that were an assortment from Azazie, Lulu’s, and Nordstrom, while the guys sported handsome black tuxes from The Black Tux. Soon after some portraits at Grant Park, we drove to Edgewood Valley Country Club for the rest of the evening. The ceremony was truly one of a kind and one that was inspired by family. The arch that they were married in front of was built by the bride’s father and was driven to Illinois from his home in Minnesota, the bride’s uncle officiated, and her little sister sang a special song (“I can’t help falling in love with you”) for them during the ceremony…not to mention it was backlit by the most amazing sunset. I’m so glad we had some time after the ceremony for a few more portraits in this stunning golden light. The reception was underneath a huge white tent decorated with string lights, elegant white, blush and green flowers, candles and light gray tablecloths. Rendevous kept the dance floor hopping all night long and I ended my time with the bride and groom with sparklers on the golf course. I couldn’t have imagined a better day all around. Congrats Mr and Mrs Bozich!!
