In April, Vince and I decided to take a family trip to Charleston to celebrate our 10 year anniversary/Ellie’s 1st birthday a little bit early! We stayed in the cutest AirBnB in close proximity to King Street and walking distance to just about everything. We visited lots of places in this charming city, and honestly ate and drank our way through Charleston. That’s how the Nords vacation! 🙂 See all the places we went below along with a few of my favorite photos from our time in Charleston. I highly recommend going on a trip here. Foodies…shopping fanatics…history buffs…lover of architecture – you’re going to LOVE it. We can’t wait to go back one day!
Places we saw/Things we did
Joe Riley Waterfront Park, Pineapple Fountain, Rainbow Row, Charleston City Market, U.S. Custom House, The Battery/White Point Gardens, St Matthews Lutheran Church (great place for a Sunday service), boat tour, Angel Oak Tree, King Street
Where we ate:
Breakfast – 132 Spring Coffee and Kitchen, Kudu Coffee
Lunch/Dinner – Magnolia’s, Husk, Cru Cafe, Prohibition
Drinks – 1Kept, Parcel 32 (upstairs is a speakeasy!!), Prohibition, Charleston Beer Works (great for beer lovers and the boiled peanuts were totally worth getting FYI!), Cocktail club (best old fashioned!)
Dessert – Sugar Bakeshop (their strawberry cupcake was amazing!)
If we had more time…
Places we would have gone – Magnolia Plantation
Where we would have tried to eat/drink – Poogan’s Porch, 167 raw, FIG
These are so beautiful! Charleston should be honored!!! I’m so happy y’all had a good time!
