When Elizabeth and John asked me to travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan for their engagement photos, I was thrilled to say yes! We always love an adventure and exploring a new city…so I packed up my little family and we took a quick road trip to Ann Arbor. We couldn’t have had a better time! We took some time to visit the adorable downtown area, drive past The Big House, and drink all the local coffee. That evening, I met Elizabeth and John at their apartment so that we could drive together from location to location. We started the session at the gorgeous Law school quad and took advantage of all it’s architecture. We ended the session at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens nearby, which was SO pretty. There was so much to photograph there! After the session, they invited me out to dinner at one of their favorite local spots where we shared wine and appetizers. I had a blast getting to know these two more. I also loved getting to learn more about their families and wedding day plans! It makes me even more excited to photograph their wedding at the Chicago Athletic Association next year!
