Yay for the first wedding of the 2019 season!!! First of all, I just have to say that Annie and Tim are such sweethearts. I had a great time photographing their love and all the people that came to celebrate with them at Cafe La Cave in Des Plaines, IL. Their wedding was filled with family and friends which you could tell that was a really important part of their day…Spending time with them, having photos with them, and being loved on by them. It was so sweet to witness them surrounded by so much love and support. Their day featured purple details throughout the ceremony at St. Edna’s Catholic Church as well as at Cafe La Cave. From the invitation suite to the bow on the dog’s neck and the ceremony drapes to the fruit on the cake… purple was incorporated throughout their entire day and in such a classy way. I love when my couples bring items for me to photograph that mean something to them. The purse that Annie carried was the same purse her mother used on her own wedding day. Additionally, I love that Annie and Tim wanted to take photos at the restaurant where they had their first date. Armand’s Pizzeria in downtown Arlington Heights has a gorgeous bar in the back that made for some really unique wedding day portraits as did the twinkle lights hanging nearby! Downtown Arlington Heights is so cute! There was a lot to love about this wedding day, but I was particularly fond of the plum colored bridesmaid dresses, all the gold accents for their reception, the best man’s touching speech, and the surprise daddy-daughter dance! This wedding was so special and one that I know Annie and Tim will never forget. I hope you guys have a wonderful honeymoon at Disney World! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Transon!
