Lindsey and Shelby had a stunning wedding in Nashville, TN at Scarritt Bennett Center and reception at The War Memorial Auditorium. The couple wanted to remember their day in a candid, fun way as they are both laid back people who enjoy life and the people who are close to them. I think this was evident in their wedding day photos! They wanted to be able to look back on their photos and see love and joy beaming through (my favorite). When searching for a photographer, they knew it was important to them to hire a photographer who knew how to handle a crowd because they both have big, loving families. As an Irish woman and someone who married into a big Italian family, I completely understand big family dynamics and how crazy but fun they can be! We were a match made in heaven 🙂

Lindsey is from Shreveport, LA and Shelby is from Memphis, TN – both from the south. Their ceremony felt like a perfect display of Southern elegance that was true to their root. Their hospitality was definitely at the forefront of the reception with amazing food stations, a centralized circular bar that was inviting to everyone who stood around it, and a killer band who kept the whole room dancing. You can see how much Lindsey and Shelby love their friends and family through the fun and celebratory photos at the reception. The couple made sure everyone had a great time!

If you’ve never seen Scarritt Bennet Center or The War Memorial Auditorium, be prepared to be struck by their regal presence. Matched with this couple and their beautiful wedding party, I’m sure you’ll agree that this day was an absolute knockout.
