Studio maternity sessions capture motherhood in its most timeless form, and my session with the Steg family in West Tennessee showed that so beautifully. There’s something special about stepping into a calm, curated space where the focus stays on connection, emotion, and the beauty of this season. Without distractions, without rushing, and without the unpredictability of the outdoors, studio sessions allow every moment to feel intentional and beautifully preserved.
For this session, we leaned into the soft blue tones of Lauren’s dress and built the color story around it. The white and blue backdrops created a clean, classic look that will never feel dated. Those tones added a gentle elegance to the images and highlighted the joy and anticipation this family carries as they prepare to welcome their newest little one.
