This past fall, I got to photograph Lindsey and Shelby (as well as their dog, Bailey) for their engagement session at Scarritt Bennett in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the same place they planned to be married (and was in Jan!) so it was very special to have their portraits taken there, especially knowing it would be pretty dark for most of the portrait time on the wedding day. The chapel grounds have amazing architecture! I was especially fond of the beautiful archways that allowed for the perfect amount of natural light creating dramatic and contrasted photos (Scroll down to see what I mean)! It was so much fun photographing and getting to know Lindsey and Shelby better. They both love each other so much and it’s evident in the photos. They chose a more formal outfit for photos at Scarritt Bennett and then a more casual look for the photos taken at Centennial Park downtown. I’ve always been obsessed with the columns and photo opportunities over there. I knew immediately after their session that the wedding was going to be absolutely amazing!
