Newborn Twins Studio Session

There are some sessions that stay with you long after you’ve packed up your camera, and James and John’s studio newborn session is one I’ll always treasure. There’s something uniquely special about photographing twins. Two tiny boys entering the world together, already connected in a way that feels both quiet and extraordinary. From the moment their parents walked into the studio, you could feel the tenderness of this new season.

Studio newborn sessions are intended to slow everything down. The soft natural light, calm environment, and the intentional simplicity allow families to breathe, settle in, and simply be with their babies. For twins, this peaceful space becomes even more meaningful. James and John curled into each other naturally. Their tiny hands and gentle movements already mirroring one another in the sweetest ways. Photographing the twins’ side‑by‑side felt like capturing the beginning of a lifelong bond.

Their parents were a joy to document. They were gentle, present, and overflowing with love for their boys. Watching them navigate this new chapter together was beautiful. The way their mom held each baby with such tenderness, the way their dad beamed with pride, and the way they both looked at their sons as if the world had suddenly become bigger and softer.  These are the moments that make newborn photography so important.

We captured solo portraits of each baby, giving James and John their own space to shine. We then brought them together for images that feel timeless and full of connection. The family portraits might be my favorite — the four of them wrapped in closeness, stepping into this new season with so much love.

Documenting this chapter for their family was an honor. These early days are fleeting, but the images we created will tell their story for years to come — two tiny boys, one beautiful family, and a season filled with tenderness and joy.
