On Katelin and Dan’s first date, they went to the famous “Bean” statue and then to Gino’s East in downtown Chicago, so choosing Millennium Park for their engagement session was the perfect way to tell how their love story began. From that day on, a tradition began where each year, Katelin and Dan would go back to the bean for a photo in front of it. This year…their engagement photo. Next year… their wedding photo! I love this tradition. It’s a great way to look back on all the years they’ve been together, to see how they’ve changed, and to reflect on what all they’ve accomplished together. Katelin and Dan are so much fun to be around and some of the sweetest people I’ve photographed. I know their wedding next January at the Kimpton Hotel Allegro is going to be filled with so much laughter and joy! I can’t wait!
