I got to do a maternity session with Bridgette and Alexander, so naturally, I was excited when they asked for an in-home family session in Chicago after baby Sloane was born! Sloane was 3 months when we took these photos in their home. I love how we were able to keep things cozy in the comfort of their house around Christmas time. As you probably know, it gets freezing in Chicago during winter months. This was the perfect indoor setting for this new family of 3!
If you’re considering doing a family session, I always recommend solids and minimal designs so your outfit doesn’t distract from the moments captured.
