These high school sweethearts have been together for nearly 12 years now and just a few weeks ago, they tied the knot! It was fitting to have the Chicago skyline in the background of some of their portraits because Efrain proposed to Amanda one night at Navy Pier at the top of the Ferris Wheel. Down below them, their family and friends held up signs that said “Amanda, will you marry me?” I can only imagine the surprise on Amanda’s face! Two very special days began next to Lake Michigan!
Y’all know my intense love for special details and this wedding had lots of them! Amanda’s aunt including the sweetest letter inside her bridal clutch that I cannot get over. I adored Amanda’s pink and jeweled Betsy Johnson flats and the fact that she wore her great grandmother’s bracelet on her wedding day. Another special detail that they incorporated into their day was Efrain’s cufflinks and Amanda’s bouquet, which included photos of some of their late relatives.
Amanda and Efrain were married at the St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. This church is absolutely stunning with its ornate details, stained glass windows, and balcony access! Later that evening, they had one amazing reception filled with laughter, love, and of course, dancing!! From the hydrangea centerpieces, mini Don Julio bottles, to the Garrett’s popcorn bags on each table, this reception at Tuscany Falls in Mokena, IL is one you won’t want to miss!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Paniagua!
