This past October, I had the privilege of photographing this adorable couple… Dayna and Jonathan. Jonathan is the younger brother of one of my past #enpbrides so I was thrilled when his lovely fiance, Dayna, reached out to me about photographing their engagement photos and wedding day! After talking a bit about where they’re like to do their engagement photos (I love talking locations with my couples!), we decided on driving out to Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL for their engagement pictures and it did not disappoint. Even though it was sprinkling the entire time (kissing in the rain is so romantic, am I right?? – hopeless romantic here), the beautiful fall colors were in full bloom. I am normally not a “bold color” girl when it comes to photography but I sure do love photographing couples in the fall foliage! I love to mold my love for neutrals through their outfits which perfectly complement the color around them. I’ll admit that fall is probably one of the only times of year where I purposefully look for color! haha! I am so in love with these photos and cannot wait to work with these two cuties again for their wedding day in July at the Union League Club of Chicago!
