Kevin and Laura work for the same company, met at a training event in Atlanta a few years ago, and have been together ever since. Kevin proposed to Laura while vacationing in Barcelona on top of a mountain called Montserrat. How sweet is that?! We definitely share our love for travel and amazing food! They began their wedding day by getting ready at the super cute Rafaello hotel, had their first look on the hotel’s rooftop (called Drumbar), and their ceremony at Germania Place. It was my first time photographing at this amazing venue and I can’t wait to photograph there again! There are so many things that I loved about their wedding day including her dainty rose gold accessories, the men’s custom fitted suits, their portraits at the Art Institute of Chicago, and the personal touches that they included in their wedding ceremony. They both chose to wear something from their grandparents – Laura wore her grandmother’s ring and Kevin wore his grandfather’s cuff links. I love how important family is to them and how they trusted me completely when it came to portrait locations! Kevin and Laura were such a dream to work with and I could not be happier to have been the one to document this special time in their lives. Hugs to you both!!
