Can you believe that this was my very first snowy engagement session?! In SEVEN years, I’ve never had the pleasure of getting a beautiful snowy session on the calendar…until this past week when I met Kristen and Scott at the Lincoln Park Zoo for their session! As most of you know, I’m originally from Tennessee and we do not get a lot of snow (and if we do, we’re not out in it! The streets wouldn’t be clear enough to go anywhere. SO different from Chicago!), but one thing I was excited about when we moved to the Midwest 3 years ago was the opportunity for snowy photos.
On the day of their session it was SO cold, but you’d never see it in the photos. These two rocked it! Even in “feels like 2 degree” weather, they snuggled and laughed their way through the cold with me. We warmed up in their car halfway through the session and then finished the rest after our fingers had returned to normal. I could not be happier about how gorgeous these photos turned out and hope to do more of these in the future!
