Downtown Chicago Engagement Photos

I knew I loved these two from the first time I met them, but their Chicago engagement session truly confirmed that they are one amazing couple! It was raining pretty hard that entire morning and afternoon, so like I do with all of my clients, I gave them 2 options: cancel or wing it! And by wing it, I mean, take cover and wait for rain to stop in between photos, maybe grab a cocktail or coffee along the way, or maybe even dance in the rain a little 🙂 While neither are a bad choice what so ever, they chose to wing it and let me get creative even if it started pouring on them! I just loved their sweet, fun personalities and their complete trust in me.  Soon after we began their session, the rain subsided and we were gifted with a beautiful, cloudy, summer evening.  We could not have asked for a better time together! I loved spending that afternoon with Kevin and Laura and truly cannot wait for their wedding in May!

P.S. How freaking cute are they!?!? I can’t stand it.
