It’s always so exciting to get to photograph couples a second time or even for years and years to come! Being their go-to photo gal and the one they trust with capturing the special moments in their lives is such an amazing thing to me! I was thrilled to hear from Ann again a months ago when she emailed me about surprising her husband Andrew with a Chicago anniversary session at the Shedd Aquarium.  If you follow along on the blog, you may recognize this couple from their proposal at the end of the Chicago Marathon in October 2015! Ann was back to run the marathon again, this year.  Upon asking Andrew why he didn’t run this year, he said “I decided not to run this year or maybe even ever again.  I couldn’t top last year!” SO sweet!

Ann decided she wanted to make this a fun surprise for Andrew, so upon arriving to the Aquarium, he had no idea what was in store. Greeting them with hugs and surprises seem to be a trend with these two now! 🙂 Andrew wore a gray suit with a blue tie which complemented perfectly with Ann, who wore a beautiful chiffon dress from J.Crew! She even got her hair and makeup done by one of my friends, Bianca Sansosti Artistry! I was excited to photograph around the Shedd Aquarium because it features stunning Chicago skyline and harbor views as well as some nature and architectural backgrounds!
