One of the weddings I was most looking forward to this year… the one of Caroline and Charles! Caroline, Charles, and I clicked from the very first email. Caroline is full of positive energy, all smiles, and is so compassionate to everyone around her. She’s one of those people that you just want to bottle up and keep with you all the time. Charles is a charming guy from South Carolina and is seriously as sweet as they come. I had a blast photographing them back in December for their engagement session and knew their wedding day at the Saddle & Cycle Club was going to be even more fun. They were married at the Christ Church Winnetka where Caroline grew up attending church and regularly singing in the choir. It was really important to them to have the choir sing at their wedding and also take their traditional wedding day portrait that will soon hang in the choir room! And let me tell you… that choir is AMAZING. I was seriously blown away and almost moved to tears (For those that don’t know, I sang for many years in a choir so it really spoke to me and my love for music). The men were dressed in dapper blue suits provided by Surmesur and the ladies were dressed in beautiful light blue gowns provided by Bella Bridesmaids. Caroline wore the most elegant dress and cathedral veil that fit her to a tee and carried a classic white and green bouquet of flowers that was created by Edward’s Florist. The Saddle & Cycle Club was such a dream venue to photograph a wedding at. The ivy on the side of the building, large patches of green grass, and the outside option for dancing was truly spectacular. I loved all the floral and candle they had decorating the reception room too! So dreamy. It was such a perfect day for Caroline and Charles and I absolutely loved being a part of it. Congratulations you two!
