I’m still swooning over Jordan and Anthony’s stunning Peninsula wedding in downtown Chicago! With CHI Chic Weddings & Events being the extraordinary planner that she is and HMR Designs as the floral and decor designer, I knew it was going to a party people would never forget. I also had one of my absolute favorite videographers (True Shot Studios) by my side which is always a treat! We were able to go to three different locations for their wedding day portraits – the Chicago Board of Trade, the Art Institute Gardens, and Michigan Avenue (the same street where we did some of their engagement photos last year)! They had a wonderful, stress-free day which is exactly how I like it! I always want my couples to enjoy their wedding day and to not worry about what time it is. Pro tip: Leave plenty of time for you guys to simply enjoy time with one another. Allow extra time for portraits. And try to make it to your cocktail hour (one of the many benefits of a first look)! You won’t be sorry.

Jordan and Anthony tied the knot at the beautiful St. James Chapel only a few blocks from the Peninsula. They kicked off the party at their cocktail hour along with signature cocktails (the sign on the bar was SO cute!!) and an amazing string trio (I’m a sucker for violins!). Their black tie wedding inside the Peninsula’s Grand Ballroom was decorated with bold colors of pink, gold, navy blue, and white. There was a green lattice display behind the band, a row of red roses lining the stage, and an array of different colored roses and chandeliers that hung down from the ceiling. It was truly a sight to be seen! The tables were decorated with candles, complementary chargers, and floral-a-plenty. I am not sure I’ve ever seen a more hopping dance floor. So many good dance floor photos and amazing dancers in this crowd.  I hope you all enjoy seeing a sneak peek into this beautiful wedding!
