Cara opens the door to their apartment and notices a trail of rose peals. The petals along with signs lead her to the porch outside where she finds Kevin dressed in a suit with a big smile on his face, holding flowers and her favorite prosecco. At that moment, their road to marriage began.
I am not sure I’ve met a more down to earth, genuinely sweet and thoughtful couple. These two just radiate beauty, pure joy, and kindness. You’d never know that it was such a yucky day outside because their smiles never stopped. No rain or wind would put this amazing couple in a bad mood!
I just loved that Cara wore an Anthropologie wedding dress. Her details of lace and pearls were simply perfection and the necklace she placed around her bouquet is a Sullivan family heirloom that has been passed down for generations. Kevin’s cufflinks were made by a seller on etsy and showed off his love for Chicago.
The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum was such a fun and unique wedding venue. Once it closed for the evening, I was able to walk around the grounds with the couple to take photos wherever we liked! We found some colorful walls, the butterfly conservatory, as well as other fun spots you’ll see in the photos below!
I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day for these two and am so excited to see where their lives take them next! Congratulations Kevin and Cara! Many, many hugs!! xoxo
