Originally from a small town in Tennessee, I now call
Chicago my home. I’ve been photographing weddings for 7 years and am incredibly passionate about telling stories through my images. With each wedding and session that I photograph, I strive to keep you as comfortable and stress free as possible (hugs, guaranteed!), and I particularly love to capture all of the tear-jerking moments that are often gone in the blink of an eye. It would be an honor to capture the memories that you will cherish and be proud to pass down to future generations. I can’t wait to hear more about you!
Vince and I first met while attending Drivers Ed in 2005. I saw him walk across the room and remember feeling all the butterflies as his eyes met mine. I was 16 at the time and we have been together ever since. He’s not just my husband, but my forever best friend. He's the first person I want to tell things to and we miss each other when we're apart. We share a mutual love of travel, eating at new restaurants, and our family. Vince and I have now been married for 9 years, have one beautiful baby girl named Ellie, and a maltichon pup named Charlie.
To strengthen marriages through heart tugging imagery that reminds them over and over again why they chose each other.
who treasures the items passed down from prior generations and relishes the little moments in life.
to capture unforgettable moments between the people who matter to you the most.
who craves a stress-free experience.
who loves to explore new places and to live in the present moment.
I love to travel and explore the world. My husband and I have traveled all over the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, France, Ireland, England, Greece, Italy, Monaco, and more. If I had to pick ONE country to be my favorite, it would have to be France. Paris is my love language.
There’s nothing better than coming home from a long day on my feet to a big glass of wine. My sweet husband typically has one already waiting for me as I walk in the door after a wedding. He's a keeper!
My love for photography began to grow as I started scrapbooking in the fifth grade. I would spend hours at a time putting together albums for myself, my family, and for school projects. Now, I design and print beautiful albums for my couples!
Chicago has so much to offer when it comes to food. I love any chance I get to go out to eat, try new foods, and explore different cultures. I've developed a sweet tooth recently and macarons are definitely a favorite!
It’s no secret that I’m huge animal lover, especially dogs. We adopted Charlie, our maltichon pup, in 2010 and he is definitely our little furchild. I'm the kind of person that "oohs and aahs" over all the dogs I encounter when walking around the city. I can't get enough!
Family is so incredibly important to me and I think that's because of the way I was raised. I believe that family are your God-given forever friends and love to visit my family in Tennessee any chance I get.
One word: Brunch. Who doesn't love sleeping in late and joining some of your favorite people for a late breakfast/early lunch situation?! I love to explore new restaurants around the city. You'll often find me with a 2% latte in hand, a pastry, and an veggie omelete. Yum...now I'm hungry.
You can take the girl out of the south, but you can’t take the south out of the girl. I love showing my southern hospitality and will always greet you with a hug. I truly believe that hugs can melt all of your pains and worries away.
I collect stationery and enjoy writing to people. When I married Vincent in 2009, I started sending out Christmas cards and love the joy that it brings people. I’ve also been a “pen pal” with a wonderful woman since I was in high school and continue to write notes to her today. I especially love getting little surprises in my mail box!
I say this pretty often, but Kate Spade just gets me. Her neutral colored purses, fun office accessories, and jewelry are my weakness. I should probably be a Kate Spade brand ambassador because 90% of the time you see me, I’ll be sporting some Kate Spade.
