Liz is a wedding and lifestyle portrait photographer who specializes in weddings and newborn photography. After opening her business in 2011, she began to tell legacy stories by capturing special moments and emotion through her imagery.
With each wedding and session that she photographs, she goes above and beyond for her couples by providing an exceptional experience from start to finish. She has the perfect mix of hands-on guidance and the fly-on-wall mentality, so that you know all your memories are being captured in the most beautiful and truest way.
Liz's favorite part about being a photographer is being able to meet people like you and capture the photos are often the most precious to her clients. She has created a legacy that she's extremely proud of and loves being a part of her client's legacy stories too.
Vince and I first met while attending Drivers Ed in 2005. Funny, I know! I still remember feeling all the butterflies as I saw him walk across the room to his seat. I was 16 at the time and we have been together ever since. He’s not just my husband, but my forever best friend.
He's the first person I want to tell things to and we miss each other when we're apart. We share a mutual love of travel, eating at new restaurants, amazing cocktails, and our family. Vince and I have now been married for 11 years, have one beautiful baby girl named Ellie, and a maltichon pup named Charlie. We love this life that we've built together!
I love to travel and explore the world. My husband and I have traveled all over the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, France, Ireland, England, Greece, Italy, Monaco, and more. If I had to pick ONE country to be my favorite, it would have to be France. There's just something about Paris!
I love coming home from a long day on my feet to a big glass of wine. A New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or a French Rose are my drinks of choice! My sweet husband typically has one already waiting for me as I walk in the door after a wedding. He's a keeper!
My love for photography began to grow as I started scrapbooking in the fifth grade. I would spend hours at a time putting together albums for myself, my family, and for school projects. Now, I design and print beautiful albums for my clients!
Chicago has so much to offer when it comes to food. I love any chance I get to go out to eat, try new foods, and explore different cultures. I've developed a sweet tooth recently and macarons are definitely a favorite!
It’s no secret that I’m huge animal lover, especially dogs. We adopted Charlie, our maltichon pup, in 2010 and he is definitely our little furchild. I'm the kind of person that "oohs and aahs" over all the dogs I encounter when walking around the city. I can't get enough!
Family is so incredibly important to me and I think that's because of the way I was raised. I believe that family are your God-given forever friends and love to visit my family in Tennessee any chance I get.
One word: Brunch. Who doesn't love sleeping in late and joining some of your favorite people for a late breakfast/early lunch situation?! I love to explore new restaurants around the city. You'll often find me with a 2% latte in hand, a pastry, and a veggie omelette. Yum...now I'm hungry.
You can take the girl out of the south, but you can’t take the south out of the girl. I love showing my southern hospitality and will always greet you with a hug. I truly believe that hugs can melt all of your pains and worries away.
I collect stationery and enjoy writing to people. I am the mom that sends out Christmas cards and love the joy that it brings people. I’ve also been a “pen pal” with a wonderful woman since I was in high school and continue to write notes to her today. I call her my 3rd grandma. I especially love getting little surprises in my mail box!
I say this pretty often, but Kate Spade just gets me. Her neutral colored purses, fun office accessories, and jewelry are my weakness. I should probably be a Kate Spade brand ambassador because 90% of the time you see me, I’ll be sporting some Kate Spade.
