Sammi Jo and Derrick have quickly become some of my favorite people! They were so much fun to photograph during their engagement session at the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Tennessee. Growing up Presbyterian and having a love for architecture, Sammi Jo thought it would be fun to have their engagement session on the First Presbyterian church grounds. Beside the church is this beautiful old home with column pillars. It’s an iconic spot for photos around Jackson and one of my favorite places to take clients because it can be used for so many different special moments. It’s just a classic and timeless place! It’s beautiful no matter the weather or time of year. Sammi Jo wore a beautiful white off the shoulder dress while Derrick chose to wear a white button up with dark jeans. We even incorporated a jacket for him to wear towards the end of the session that added a nice pop of color to the photos. Everything complimented the scenery so well and I was proud of them for being themselves in front of the camera. They allowed me to capture all their love and personality in these photos, which made for such a great session! I cannot wait for their wedding in Savannah, TN at her uncles private property. October will be here before we know it!!
