Nicole and Jerry are literally the sweetest people ever and their wedding day was so beautiful. They were married at the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Marytown a few weeks ago. Nicole and Jerry received special permission to be married there as they don’t usually allow weddings at the shrine. But because of their family ties to St. Maximilian they were allowed to be married there which is pretty unique! They celebrated their reception at the stunning Cuneo Mansion which is the same venue where My Best Friend’s Wedding was filmed! The grounds are so beautiful there – I could have photographed them for hours!
Nicole’s elegant long sleeve wedding gown and the groom’s Armani black tuxedo were something out of a fairytale. The ladies wore long pink bridesmaid dresses and carried gorgeous white and pink floral bouquets. Nicole and Jerry each chose to gift each other a little something special before the ceremony. I love when my couples do this! Jerry surprised Nicole with a beautiful green lady bug from Tiffany & Co. Nicole shared with me that ladybugs remind her of her father who passed away from cancer 2 years ago. So now, every time she sees a ladybug she smiles and thinks of him. Since her father could not be with her on her wedding day, Nicole’s godfather walked her down the aisle and also shared a first dance with her at the reception. It left the whole room in tears because during that dance, Nicole’s mother surprised everyone with some audio from an old home video that included Nicoles’ dad’s voice saying how much he loved her. That was just the first of many surprises that night! After that, another emotional dance was shared between Nicole and her mom. Nicole surprised her mom with her own audio recording telling her mom how much she loved and appreciated everything she’s done for her. The bride also surprised the groom and all of her guests with a Frank Sinatra singer named Antonio Duca. He was incredible! It was truly an amazingly beautiful and sentimental night filled with so many people who love Nicole and Jerry. Below are some of my favorites from their day!
