What is the Love In The City Workshop?
Whether you’re a beginner photographer or someone that has been in the business for several years, this workshop will help you take your business and photography skills to the next level. While attending, you will gain a deep understanding of how I use my branding market, and networking to create a high end photography business. You will also get to see firsthand how I photograph clients during their engagement session as well as on the wedding day in a natural and authentic way through a engagement and styled wedding shoot.
Day 1: Photography
This day we will dive right into how I shoot, how I get those creamy skin tones without needing to retouch them later, how I photograph details, pose clients, and more. Mid-day, there will be a beautiful styled wedding shoot with some of Chicago’s best wedding vendors where you will get to see how I work, get to build your wedding portfolio and practice new techniques, as well as learn how to shoot for publication and the vendors!
Day 2: Business
I will help you learn about setting a foundation for your business by finding your why and your ideal client. You’ll get to learn how I handle inquiries and meetings with clients as well as what happens after they book including topics like the client experience, the engagement session, the wedding day timeline what gear I bring, and so much more! I will also be going over the “behind the scenes” side of wedding photography with topics such as my backup process, workflow, editing, branding, social media, marketing, blogging, and more! This day I will provide each attendee with a professional headshot that they can use for their business.
