Hi friends!

I can’t wait until you meet my new sister in law, Lauren. It kind of hit me today that she’s the only one I’m ever going to have and I truly could not have picked a better one myself! My little brother, Lance, got married to this beauty this past Saturday on the dock in my parents backyard! It was such a beautiful, warm, and sunny afternoon… simply perfect in every way. The ceremony was incredibly sweet and the reception was so much fun! Anytime there’s music and a dance floor, I can guarantee you that my family will be out there! I can also guarantee that you will leave with your cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing so hard.  Some of my favorite parts about their wedding day was the fact that they included their dog Buck into the ceremony, her mother handmade her veil (GORGEOUS, right!?), and Lauren and Lance surprised everyone at the reception with a mashup first dance!  It was SO them.

A few weeks ago, I presented the idea of doing a Tennessee backyard bridal session to Lauren and she was so excited! With everything in place, we decided to do the session at my grandmother’s home. The sun was definitely coming out to play that day and we used it to our advantage. I love the mix of super sunny and bright photos with the contrasted dramatic look as well. Her personality totally shined in these and I know that we’ll always remember this time together!
